In part: "<I>The House of Reph have resolved to erect a bridge across the Potomac from the Maryland avenue… Mr. Gregg has introduced into the house a non-intercourse resolve, with Great Britain… Tomorrow it is expected the House will discuss it… the democrats are by no means united amongst themselves as to political measures… the administration are in a sad dilemma, The President does not seem decided as to the most expedient measures with respect -- The Spanish Minister has shamefully abused him…</B></I>" <BR><BR>Lot also includes: a <B>John Fenton</B></I> ALS regarding a desk given to his father by Thomas Jefferson; <B>Brockholst Livingston</B></I> (signature); <B>Nathan Mason</B></I> (signature); <B>Joseph Stanton</B></I> (ALS regarding Thomas Jefferson); and <B>Joseph B.
