Finley</B></I>- 1887 ALS responding to invitation to attend Confederate veterans reunion.<BR><B>John Buchanan Floyd</B></I>- Clipped signature signed as U.S. "Secretary of War" (1857). He served as governor of Virginia and commander at Fort Donelson in 1862.<BR><B>William H. Forney</B></I>- 1889 ALS on U.S. House of Representatives stationary.<BR><B>Samuel G. French</B></I>- Clipped signature.<BR><B>Samuel G. French</B></I>- 1899 handwritten signed note.<BR><B>Samuel G. French</B></I>- A short signed note, trimmed.<BR><B>Daniel M. Frost</B></I>- 1890 ALS, responding to autograph request and suggesting ways to contact a couple of other former C.S.A. generals. Apparently even then collectors were working on sets of these signatures.<BR><B>Birkett D.
