For your consideration is this Griswold cast iron skillet and Dutch oven set from 1920. Griswold Manufacturing, founded in Erie, Pennsylvania in 1865, was a prominent American manufacturer of cast-iron kitchen products, known for its high-quality cookware. The company's journey began with the production of butt hinges and then expanded to include a wide range of cast-iron products like skillets, griddles, and kettles. While initially a small foundry, Griswold evolved into a leading brand, even branching into aluminum and electric cookware later in its history. This set includes three skillets, numbers 6,7 and 8 and a large cast iron pot with a tite-top dutch oven lid and a tite-top baster lid. They are marked on the bottom reading, "Griswold / Eyrie, PA., U.S.A.". They show good condition overall with little to no wear present and no signs of damage is noted. The skillets measure from 13 3/4" L x 9 5/8" W x 1 7/8" H to 15 3/8" L x 11 1/4" W x 2" H, while the dutch oven measures 10 5/8" L x 12 1/4" W x 4" H. The set has a collective weight of 22 pounds and 4 ounces.
