<B> Gus Grissom, Deke Slayton, and Wally Schirra Autograph Document Signed </B></I> "<I>Virgil I. Grissom; D.K. Slayton; Walter Schirra Jr.</B></I>" 8" x 5.2", one page document, printed on both sides, from Langley, Air Force Base in Virginia. The document is dated June 6, 1961, and is a Form 781, "<I>Aircraft Flight Report and Maintenance Record</B></I>" Part II. The form was completed in pencil and stamped in red ink at the top. It is signed twice by all three astronauts after they had been playing with the F-106B aircraft. There is data on the verso that includes inspection and inspectors, fuel level, and other routing service notations with signatures of techs and staff sergeants. Grissom, Slayton, and Schirra were introduced as three of the seven Mercury Program astronauts, the first brave men to enter space as part of America's Space Program! <BR><BR> The document is in fine condition; it is slightly faded and yellowed; signatures are still legible and crisp.
