Handwritten Note, Signature, and Mickey Mouse Sketch.</B></I> One page, oblong octavo, n.p., December 18, 1965. <BR> <BR>One of the most versatile and long-lived American animators, Grim Natwick created and developed some of our best-loved animated characters. After creating Betty Boop for Fleisher Studios, he went on to act as lead animator on the first ever full-length animated feature, Walt Disney's <I>Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs</B></I>. He also contributed to the animation of <I>Gulliver's Travels</B></I>, Mickey Mouse in <I>Fantasia</B></I>, Mr. Magoo, Popeye and many others.<BR><BR>Grim Natwick's interesting addition to the guestbook of an unknown friend: "<I>Grim Natwick / Dec. 18th, 1965 / 'A Journey of a Thousand Miles is Begun / with One Step</B></I>.'" To the right, a quick sketch of Mickey Mouse. Accompanied by a hand-colored (colored pencil and felt-tipped pen) photocopied sketch of an early Betty Boop.
