DS, one page, 8.5 x 11, August 15, 1946. Peck gives his consent for the Motion Picture Relief Fund to use his name and likeness on printed stamps and stamp albums to benefit the fund. Signed in the middle by Peck, and signed again at the bottom by Peck in an area labeled “Please write autograph in above space for reproduction.” A bit of light haloing to both signatures, a mild shade of toning, and punch holes to left edge, otherwise fine condition. The Motion Picture Relief Fund is a charitable organization that offers assistance and care to those in the motion picture and television industries with limited or no resources. It was created by such luminaries as Charlie Chaplin, Mary Pickford, Conrad Nagel, Douglas Fairbanks, and D. W. Griffith.
