<B>Greg Hildebrandt - "Perseus and Andromeda" Fantasy Painting Original Art (Simon and Schuster, 1984).</B></I> The fiery fantasy of "Perseus and Andromeda" was painted for <B>Greg Hildebrandt's Favorite Fairy Tales</B></I>. About a decade earlier, in the fall of 1975, Greg and Tim Hildebrandt burst into the forefront of the fantasy art field with a calendar of their renderings of characters and scenes from J.R.R. Tolkien's <B>The Lord of the Rings</B></I>. The brothers' work is celebrated for its use color to augment vivid light and shadow contrasts, and for its vigorous depictions of mythic figures. Greg's acrylic on board painting has an overall size of 16" x 23", and the art is in Excellent condition.
