<B>Greensburg, PA</B></I> - $10 1875 Fr. 423 <B>The First NB</B></I> Ch. # 2558<BR> This is an exceptionally rare Friedberg number, with only a literal handful of examples known in all grades from all banks. This number exists only because of title changes or the order of a new denomination by an already existing bank, the latter almost certainly the reason for this institution's Fr. 423 examples. Despite the research already available in the last several years, the Friedberg catalogue persists in valuing signature combinations with populations of under a dozen pieces at a foolishly small premium over the most common numbers, in many cases with prices spread out over six grades when the total population extant is five or fewer notes.
