This is made of Solid Bronze and has a wonderful patina across the entire piece. This appears to have had a gold overlay at some point and has Markings across the entire sword from the handle and down the blade. This was purchased at the Athens Museum Sale and was dug by with various other artifacts. This is from the 100-200 A.D. The sword overall is 21.75" long. This comes with a sword stand made of a metal rod holding the sword vertically and sitting on a frosted stand. This sword comes directly from the man who purched to sword from the museum sale. This sword is believed to be of the 100-200AD era and believed to be Greek, but does not come with any paperwork or guarantee. NOTE** There are similar swords with design and age that are being called "chinese". This piece is similar and possibly of the same origins and age (100-200AD), but the owner did purchase directly from the Athens Museum.
