A Fine Greek Etruscan Luristan Bronze Vase or Vessel. Greek, circa: 800 BC. Measuring: 4" high. <BR><BR>

A Fine and highly detailed Pre-Roman bronze Palmegranette-form vase, The sides with large scalloping bordered at base and top with S-form relief design. The neck with flared top boasts the repeated design at top. <BR><BR>

Collection of Marcel Gibrat(1915-1993).<BR><BR>

Mr. Gibrat was the art conservator for the Metropolitan Museum of Art from 1957 to 1965. Mr. Gibrat owned and operated an Antiquities gallery on Madison Avenue in New York City from 1965 to 1991.

In 1969 Mr. Gibrat was visited by one Mr. Chensas, a well known antiquities dealer who introduced him to the idea of becoming an antiquities dealer.Mr. Gibrat started to buy at Sotheby's, Christie's and other New York area auction houses at that time. This began a thirty-year love affair with arts and antiquites.
