Great Northern Railway ground signal lamp brass-plated "Great Northern Railway No. 23350" on the chimney cowl and "TEMPSFORD" on the body. With a non-matching interior embossed "Railway Supplies Company London". Tempsford station, between Sandy and St Neots on the ECML, opened in 1863 and closed in 1956.
