Great Eastern Railway 3-aspect sliding-knob HANDLAMP, dated 1915. The reducing-cone is stamped "GER BIRD BROOK No.1". A GER (stamped) vessel; LNER brass/ceramic burner; reflector; brass knobs; back handle and all glasses (one cracked). Birdbrook station, ex Colne Valley and Halstead Railway, between Haverhill and Chapel and Wakes Colne, opened in 1863 and closed in 1962.
