<B>Victoria Proof Trade Dollar 1901-B,</B></I> KM-T5, Bombay Mint, PR64 NGC, brilliant with deep mirrors and just faint hairlines. Britannia stands out in relief from the mirrored background field as she is in moderately frosted cameo, adding to the eye-appeal of this beauty. Very rare, a Proof of Record struck in tiny numbers (the intention, as per the law of 1800 that called for the issuance of Proofs in years when sets were not made for collectors, was to have examples of the coinage for museum collections).
