<B>James I (1603-25) gold Laurel,</B></I> S-2638C, North-2114, Schneider-86, Third Coinage of 1619-25, Trefoil mm as used only in 1624, 4th bust, Choice AU, still fairly lustrous, slightly double struck but overall showing a clear and pleasing portrait, the flan full to the outer circles, legends bright, the entire reverse unusually well made and clear.
