<B>Henry VIII (1509-47) gold Crown of the double-rose,</B></I> S-2274, Second Coinage of 1526-44, Lis mm, "hK" on both sides, for Henry and Katherine of Aragon, his first wife, Choice Good VF, or nearly XF, a sharp and lovely coin having a large flan crack from the bottom of the rose down to the edge, but on a full flan with all legends complete and clear, the centers also unusually well detailed. Old-gold color; just coming back to market after many years in an old collection. Scarce.
