<B>George III copper Halfpenny 1799,</B></I> S-3778, Soho Mint (variety with 6 gunports on the ship), CGS-graded UNC-85, equivalent to a PCGS MS65 or Gem Uncirculated in the cataloguer's opinion -- and mostly brilliant mint red with just slight brownish toning, sharply struck with cartwheel luster, some interesting die-breaks; all in all a splendid example. CGS is the new British certification company, Coin Grading Service; they use an MS system ranging from 1 to 100 instead of the Sheldon-based 1-70, but so far their grading is tight, and only nice coins are showing up in their slabs.<BR><BR><b>Shipping:</b> Coins & Currency (<a target="_blank" href="http://www.heritageauctions.com/common/shipping.php">view shipping information</a>)
