<B>Elizabeth II pattern Decimal Crown</B></I> struck on an Irish 10-Shilling flan, showing the 10-Shillings obverse portrait, mated to a reverse styled after the Gothic Crown (of 1847-53, dated 1847 in roman numerals). Reverse die-axis turned to 45-degree angle. Edge inscription reads "DEI. GRATIA. : FID. DEF. REGINA :" in very bold, raised or upset letters. Possibly unique. Comes with Spink ticket pricing it at $2,500 (today, about $5,000).
