18-page prospectus with seven photo illustrations and two maps of the mines and tunnel. Mine president was W. P. Daniels, secretary N.C. Merrill. Located at Ward, Colorado. Great condition. This is a "fun name" to me, because in mining, an "adit" is a tunnel. Ward is right next to Boulder. The Adit tunnel was driven to access many mines of the area, including the Dew drop mine. The prospectus is about 1898. A power plant for the tunnel was completed in August 1898. A rail spur of the Colorado & Northern to the Tunnel was under negotiation and construction that year. The Big 5 mining company was negotiating a deal to supply 100 tons or more per day to a local mill. By July 1899, the Tunnel was advertising for more drillers.
