This striking cover scene for <B>False Front </B></I>has many of the key features a sci-fi aficionado would want -- a futuristic submarine, a fearsome "thunder lizard," and perhaps most importantly -- a scantily-clad fantasy <I>femme fatale</B></I>! The Perry Rhodan novels originated as a weekly series in Germany starting in September of 1961. These space opera adventures were introduced to American audiences by the legendary Forry Ackerman of <B>Famous Monsters of Filmland </B></I>fame. Forry's wife, Wendy, translated the novels for Ace Books, and most of the superb covers were created by Gray Morrow or George Wilson.
