<B>Grass Roots/Big Brother and the Holding Company Avalon Ballroom Concert Poster, FD-11 (Family Dog, 1966).</B></I> This early Family Dog poster, featuring a photograph of a gargoyle high atop the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, was the artistic work of Victor Moscoso. But the real story here is about a young female singer making her debut with opening act Big Brother -- yes, this was Janis Joplin's first gig with the band that would make her famous. The poster is a first printing example, measuring approximately 13.5" x 20". In VG- condition, with slight staining, tack holes, and three tiny holes within the image area.
