<B>Grande Ballroom Psychedelic Concert Postcard Group (Russ Gibb, 1967)</B></I> Detroit's Gary Grimshaw was an artist on par with the best of the San Francisco poster artists. Here are two postcards showcasing Grimshaw's intricate lettering, and designs which incorporate photos, old engravings, vivid colors, and trippy lettering for a truly psychedelic effect. The first promotes shows featuring Scott Richard Case, Billy and the Sunshine, MC5, Gang, and Odds and Ends, dated October 6-7, 1967. The second spotlights an engraving of a famous work of art known as "the Boy in the Bubble," and features the Pack (which evolved into Grand Funk Railroad), Gold, Our Mother's Children, MC5, and Billy and the Sunshine, for shows dated October 21-22, 1967.
