The Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) was a fraternal organization composed of veterans of the Union Army who had served in the American Civil War and this lot includes various reunion souvenirs from the GAR that include: GAR California and Nevada 54th encampment ribbon with delegate pin (fair with a few tears and some minor fraying); GAR 20th encampment ribbon; GAR California and Nevada 43rd encampment delegate ladder badge with ribbon; GAR California and Nevada 41st encampment ribbon with delegate pin (heavily faded); GAR California and Nevada 47th encampment pin with delegate ribbon; GAR Member of Staff 1909 medal; GAR California and Nevada 49th encampment medal; GAR California and Nevada 59th encampment yellow ribbon with pin; GAR California and Nevada 46th encampment medal; "LOS ANGELES CAL" marked medal with the period marking "A E GOHN CO G 17TH USI" on the back, missing ribbon; Panama-Pacific International exposition (1915) participant ribbon with pin; GAR California 24th encampment ribbon; GAR Chickamauga Post 149 ribbon with pin; GAR medal missing ribbon; GAR honorary member ribbon, 1886 (some pin holes at the top); GAR Rawlins Post 23 37th encampment pin; Appomattox 1903 ribbon; GAR California and Nevada 47th encampment delegate ribbon with pin; GAR California and Nevada 45th encampment medal; Council Flor da Patria Number 18 11th annual picnic ribbon; and GAR California medal with cow head marked "WYOMING".

Unless noted above, all medals and ribbons are very good to very fine with minor discoloration on the ribbons and some light fraying. The medals/badges have a pleasant aged patina.
