British champion auto racer (1929-1975) and winner of the 1966 Indy 500. Despite his many near escapes on the track, he would die ironically in a plane crash. Vintage color 7 x 5 candid photo of Hill rounding a turn in his race car, signed in blue ballpoint. Photo is labeled on the reverse in pencil in an unknown hand, “1967 USGP.” In fine condition. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from James Spence.
