TLS, one page, 6.25 x 7.75, 5 St. James's Street letterhead, August 21, 1950. Letter to Robert Ostermann, in full: "It was nice getting a letter from you and I hope things are well with you. I don't think I have much news. I have just been away for a very nice quiet three weeks on a boat in the Mediterranean and managed to finish my novel, but I don't know yet whether I shall like it well enough to publish it. I do hope if you are over here again from Ireland you will come and see me." In fine condition. Ostermann's interview with Greene, originally printed in the February 1950 issue of Catholic World, was later published in the books Conversations with Graham Greene and Graham Greene: Man of Paradox. The "novel" Greene references is likely The End of the Affair, which was published by Heinemann in 1951.
