Beige blazer screen-worn by Grace Kelly in the 1953 film ''Mogambo''. Kelly starred opposite Clark Gable and Donald Sinden in the romantic drama set in Africa. Blazer was custom made for Kelly by MGM costume designer Helen Rose and bears a label inside the arm that reads ''Grace Kelly'' in type. Painstakingly tailored blazer is fully lined in taupe silk. Features a hook and eyelet closure at the waist and decorative stitching along the edges. Measures 12'' across the waist. Some staining to lining, else near fine. Originally acquired from the famous MGM Archives Sale, held in 1970 to free up space on the studio lot that had been occupied by the thousands of costumes and props used in MGM pictures over the years.
