<B>Grace G. Drayton - Dolly Dimples Hand Colored Sunday Comic Strip Original Art (Grace G. Drayton, 1914).</B></I> Grace Drayton was one of the first successful female illustrators, and her work was regularly published in <B>The Ladies Home Journal</B></I>. This exceptional Sunday was hand-colored by the artist, and was included in "The Sunday Funnies -- 100 years of Comics in American Life" exhibit at the Barnum Museum. It is also featured on page 19 of the exhibition catalog (a copy of which is included in this lot).
