Gothic Stable Blanket Bar
This is one of the best sets of stable blanket brackets we have seen. The Gothic style cast iron brackets are 19.5" long and extend 12" to where the wooden bar goes through the rings. The bar is not original but the wooden mounting boards were attached to the brackets when found so may be of the same age, which is c1880. There are traces of gilding under the old green paint. Everything is in perfect condition.
