<B>Gothic Blimp Works #2 R. Crumb (East Village Other, 1969) Condition: FN.</B></I> Robert Crumb's over-the-top portrait of a drooling, drunken pervert attacking a pretty teen-age girl sounds shocking today, but was just par for the course back in the anything-goes late sixties. Needless to say, it has become a favorite among hard-core R. Crumb fans, making this somewhat tough-to-find item high on many collectors' want lists. What makes this one hard to locate is the very nature of the cheap newsprint and oversized dimensions; most copies that survive are usually folded, torn, and ragged along the edges. Not this copy. While some minor smudging does appear, especially along the logo area, the Crumb art remains sharp, and the page edges free of wear. Moderate paper tanning.
