Gorman Trading was in the area of Ganado, Arizona. The token is stamped as Gorman New Mexico because many trading posts used New Mexico as their mailing address (usually Gallup).
A second-generation Gorman trader, Gordon Gorman, purchased Ganado Trading Post in 1981 after working at Round Top Trading in the late 70s. The Ganado store was destroyed by fire in 1982 and never reopened. The token was created by his father and not used after the 50s.
