Designed by William T. Olmstead under the supervision of Salt Lake City Civil and Mining Engineer Robert Gorlinski in 1902, this brightly colored piece measures a massive 75" x 44" in its mounting and frame, with a canvas backing. Relief shown by hachures and shows borders of mining claims and company holdings. It is printed by the Utah Lithographing Co. It is drawn to the scale of 1000 ft. equal to one inch and shows Ontario, Daly, Crescent, Anchor, Alliance, Meears, Silver King, Woodside, Mayflower, Glencoe, Parleys Park, Lowell, McHenry, Hawkeye, Massachusetts, Jones Bonanza, Southern Tier, Jupiter, Apex, Silver Key, Uintah, Farish, Reed, Pioneer, West End, Scott Hill, Ehenger, Kennedy, Dolberg, Black Diamond, New York, Storey, Shanley, Lucky Bill, Little Bell, Putnam, Boulder, Wasatch, Union, Bogan, Creole, Newell, etc. From official surveys in Utah, Blue Ledge, Snake Creek, Big & Little Cottonwood & American Fork Mining Districts, Utah. - Ken & Rosemary Roberts Collection -58986
