Goodwin and Doe Wolfeboro Carry Beach Calender - 1936
August 1936 Calender - Sunset at Carry Beach with canoe in photo. This is the scene I grew up watching. It's Winter Harbor on Lake Winnipesaukee in Wolfeboro, NH. Carry Beach was a spot where the Indians would carry their canoes across what's now known as Forest Road. The calender has August through December. Shrink wrapped with a special red, white and blue I will drive safely sticker. This was an original advertising art piece for Goodwin and Doe who were contractors and builders in Wolfeboro around the turn of the 19th/20th century building most of the Victorian homes and most other major buildings in Wolfeboro such as the Huggins Hospital. A real nice piece of Wolfeboro memorabilia.
