Good quality Belgian boxlock double rifle signed ‘Ancienne Mon H Mahillon of Brussels, makers of arms for royalty’ in French on barrel. The bottom of barrels are marke 9.3x74 and show B. Blindee stamp and Belgianproofs. The rifle is of medium weight showing bushed firing pins, auto ejectors, raised and milled rib, iron sights, blue and case hardened finish, action lightly engraved in scrolls, bottom of frame also signed “H.Mahillon”. The rifle shows 25-3/4” barrels, 42-3/8” overall. Stock measures 14-1/4” to the end of the wood, 15-1/4” to the end of the European type rubber recoil pad. The rifle weighs approx. 6.3lbs and is in verygood plus to near fine condition with 95-98% original blue, typical sedate case hardening, drifting slightly to grey. The triggerguard shows most of its original blue. The stocks are very good plus with crisp checkering,just some minor handling and storage type wear that is minimal. The action is tight, the bores are fine to near excellent and would clean. The rifle has had just some slight use. The rifle is equipped with studs
