Two personal checks: one 8.5 x 3.25, filled out in type and signed by Clark Gable, payable to Hillcrest Motor Company for $99.87, April 10, 1947; and one 6 x 3, filled out in blue ballpoint and signed by Butterfly McQueen payable to Sloan’s for $26.30, August 21, 1991. In fine condition, with a vertical fold, expected cancellation holes, and a small spot of adhesive to the Gable check, and show-through from stamps on reverse of the McQueen check, none affecting the clean signature area.
