Porcelain Art Deco figurine depicting a female dancer, designed by renowned sculptor Stephan Dakon for Goldscheider, Vienna, 1939. The figure features a highly stylized and dynamic pose characteristic of the Art Deco period. She is shown gracefully bending backward with arms extended, holding up long panels of her flowing skirt like butterfly wings. The costume includes a red bustier with a scale-textured pattern and a short front skirt with side panels dramatically slit at the back. The skirt is richly hand-painted in deep red hues with black and pink floral motifs. Mounted on a glossy black, slightly curved oval base, the piece bears an impressed model number "7996 / 218 / 19" on the underside. Marked with the Goldscheider Vienna factory stamp.
