Highly detailed, black print on brown paper identifying multiple mining claims in Esmeralda and Nye County, including the Jumbo Extension Mining Co., Goldfield Belmont Group, Goldfield Consolidated Mines Co., and Yellow Rose Mining Co. A Black and white image of the "Sleeper Mine," which was "among Nevada's most high grade gold deposits. It produced about 1.7 million ounces an average cash costs of 158 dollars per ounce of gold between 1986 and 1996. Thirteen copies of Daily Mining and Financial Record dated 1914-1915, each 4 pages long. Masthead includes publication name, "A Quarter Century of Service," and "Published Every Business Day." Below the masthead is "Denver, Colo.," publishing date, and "Established 1889." Measures 15.5" x 22.5," printed on brown paper. Vol. VII No. 109-143 (a few issues missing between) evening issues May 6, 1881-June 15, 1881. The first issue in this lot is May 6, 1881 and has a list of Delinquent Sale Notices and a headline story on the Carson Mint, a fire at the Con. Virginia Mine, the shutdown of the Teacup mill at Cherry Creek, and the death of Gold Hill resident, Richard Greenewood who is said to have had just time enough to hand his partner his purse with instructions to send it to his family. - Maish Collection -58834
