Lot of 7 documents. 1) Dated November 16, 1921, two copies of a contract between Goldfield Blue Bell Mining Company and its agent, D.S. Johnson (party of the first part) of Tonopah, NV, and G.M. Lerchen (party of the second part) of Luning, NV. The contract leases the "Town," "Discovery," "Hornsilver," "Cave," "Index," and "Great Western Mill site," commonly referred to as the "Downeyville Mines," in addition to 40 acres of land at Fowler's Spring, all situated in Nye County, NV from the party of the first to the party of the second. It negotiates a lease for the property and an option to purchase for a price of $30,000 paid in $10,000 installments due on May 16 of 1924, 25, and 26. 2) Four copies of deed between Goldfield Blue Bell Mining Company (1st party) and Downeyville-Nevada Mines Inc. (2nd party) transferring control of above mentioned property from 1st party to the 2nd party dated 1924. 3)Two copies of indenture between Goldfield Blue Bell Mining Company (1st party) and James J. Cude (2nd party), dated 1924, transferring rights to the Brown, Crown, Indianapolis, Phonograph, Stonewall, Violet, Wild Emigrant, Berlin, Keystone, Clipper, Midas Mill Site in Ione Canyon, Nye, County, NV. 4)An agreement between Goldfield Blue Bell Mining Co., an AZ corporation by it's President (1st party); Geo. M. Lerchen of Luning, NV (2nd party); and Downeyville-Nevada Mines, Inc. (3rd party) that more clearly defines the contractual relations between all of said parties, superseding any previous leases, options, and assignments. 5) Four copies (including one with handwritten notes) of a letter to the Lander County Bank in Austin, NV. The letter places in escrow: deed Goldfield Blue Bell Mining Company to Downeyville-Nevada Mines Inc. dated 1924, for above mentioned property. Agreement of the Nevada Company, mortgagee, of above mentioned property dated 1924 to release its mortgage upon receipt by the Nevada Company of $30,000 before May 1, 1926. Copy of agreement between Goldfield Blue Bell Mining Company, George M. Lerchen and Downeyville Mines Inc. The terms of the escrow are then listed, followed by the amount to be disbursed by the Lander County Bank. 6) Note dated December 27, 1923 to Goldfield Blue Bell Mining Co. from F.H. and Geo. Lerchen requesting a change in the document dated 11/16/21 from "F.H. Lerchen and G.M. Lerchen" to "G.M. Lerchen." 7) Note dated Feb 16, 1924 from D.S. Johnson to J.M.H. The note describes the survey numbers and the claims with which they are associated.
