<B>Golden Age Aviation Racing Trophy Photo Archive.</B></I> An interesting photograph archive representing a study in the racing trophies of aviation's “Golden Age”. All photographs are black-and-white, most photographs are 8” x 10”, and all are in very good condition. Included is an excellent four-photo study of the famed Bendix Trophy awarded to the winner of the annual transcontinental race that started in 1931. There are also studies of the B. H. Dyas trophy, Woolaroc trophy, Santa Monica Perpetual trophy, and several others. Of particular note is a small archive of proposed trophy designs and accompanying letters from artist Walter A. Sinz. Sinz has submitted several trophy designs to the director of the National Air Races, Clifford Henderson for consideration.
