Very good. The barrel retains much of the brown damascus pattern with some minor spotting and some minor pitting. The remaining surfaces have a mottled gray patina. The period crudely repaired stock is otherwise very good with some minor dings and scratches, with a minor wood repair on the forearm. The checkering is crisp. Mechanically fine.
