Two specimens, both 2 x 2 x 1". One specimen consists of light gray to med gray quartz banded and brecciated vein with traces of tiny gold particles and naumannite. The other is dark colored with thin quartz veinlets containing tiny quartz crystals. The Gold Circle Mine is in the northwest part of the Midas District. The boom that created Midas began in 1907 with the first mining in the District and the townsite was named Gold Circle because the mines encircled it.
