This is a convolute of gloves, overshoes of the Orlan space suit and the visor of a helmet of a Sokol space suit

This is a convolute of a pair of gloves, a pair of overshoes of the Orlan space suit and the visor of a helmet of a space suit of the type Sokol of the Soviet aerospace. The Orlan space suit was used for extra-vehicular activities. It was manufactured like all Russian space suits by the Russian company Zwezda and was originally developed within a frame of the Soviet moon program. It was used for the first time in 1977 and is still employed to this present today at installation work on the International Space Station (ISS). This suit was used for the test exercises and has never flown into space.

Every piece of the convolute is stored in a case. The soils of the cases are inscribed with writing in orange that has largely become abraded. The convolute is in good condition, the fabric is a little bit browned, the shoes somewhat stained and at the helmet are detached parts due to the segregation of the visor from the helmet. The dimensions of the cases are each 29.5 x 40 x 40 cm (height x width x depth).
