World War II-dated DS, eight pages, 8.5 x 11, May 7, 1941. A one-year agency contract between Gloria Swanson and A. George Volk. Signed at the conclusion in fountain pen by Swanson, who adds her initials to three amended sections, and signs a second time in the middle of the penultimate page. In fine condition. Swanson returned to acting after a seven-year absence in 1941, starring opposite Adolphe Menjou in the comedy Father Takes a Wife. Eight years later, Swanson staged another comeback in the classic Sunset Boulevard.
