Actor (1899–1973) who, after appearing in a string of westerns, became better known as Frankenstein’s monster after Boris Karloff declined to continue in the role he had created. Vintage glossy 10 x 8 Universal promotional photo from The Wistful Widow of Wagon Gap, signed and inscribed on the reverse in fountain pen “A hearty howdy to my friend Ovan Maule. Sincerely, Glenn Strange.” A promotional caption is also affixed to the reverse. In fine condition, with three punch holes to left edge, scattered light surface marks, creases, and impressions to image side, and a bit of scattered mild toning to reverse.
