<B>Glenn Strange Signed</B></I> <B><I>Riders of Sundown</B></I></B></I> <B>Contract.</B></I> A Screen Actors Guild freelance contract dated March 19, 1940, engaging Strange for the role of "Bret Stockton" opposite Tex Ritter in the Western <I>Riders of Sundown</B></I> (released in 1940 as <I>Cowboys of Sundown</B></I>), signed by Strange on the back in blue ink. Glenn Strange, of course, later won major horror genre distinction as the Frankenstein Monster in <I>House of Frankenstein</B></I> (1944), <I>House of Dracula</B></I> (1945), and <I>Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein Q (1948), and returned to his western roots as Sam the bartender on the TV's long-running IGunsmoke.</B></I> In Very Fine condition with mild wear.<BR><BR><b>Shipping:</b> Books & Catalogs (<a target="_blank" href="http://www.heritageauctions.com/common/shipping.php">view shipping information</a>)
