Frank S. Jellerson and his sister Amanda built the Glenbrook hostelry known as the Jellerson House in 1882. This structure was sold and Frank built his second hostelry named the Dirigo Hotel in about 1887. In 1892, Jellerson's Dirigo Hotel was the last left in Glenbrook (another had just closed).
