Glass bottle of Lubin perfume (Paris) with stopper and contents intact, ex-Dakota (1877). 105 grams, 3-3/4" tall, 1-1/2" diameter. Cute little bottle, cylindrical with stopper in top sealed shut to keep in the original perfume, only the second time we have offered a bottle from this obscure wreck, a transatlantic steamer bound for New York from Liverpool that ran aground and sank off Anglesey Wales, on May 9, 1877 and salvaged in 1998. From the S.S. Dakota (1877), with original certificate #30 from the salvors plus a contemporary postcard depicting the "Wreck of the 'Dakota'" (undated). Recovered from: S.S.
