Glasgow & South Western Railway 3-aspect HANDLAMP, the body stamped "G & SWR 980", brass-plated "980", and displaying its "Knights Birmingham" brass maker's plate. Complete with a fore and aft vessel; brass burner; copper reflector; brass-rimmed copper lens cone, and all glasses. This lamp was found at Barrhill station (between Girvan and Stranraer).
