Gladson, Deek. SUDDEN WEALTH. AN INTRODUCTION TO SUCCESSFUL TREASURE HUNTING. Ram Publishing Company. 1972. 12mo. x, 106 pages. Dallas. RAM revised reprint of the first edition. original white printed card covers. illustrated. near Fine. KvonM wanted to 'fill the void' between his own Treasure Hunter's Manuals and Nesmith and Potter's 'Treasure Hunters'. Ounce for ounce, the best book ever written about hunting for and finding treasure. 'Sudden Wealth' covers it all in a few short chapters: 'Big Dividends, No Overhead,' 'Treasure Is What It Is,' 'HUSH Your Mush' (alone worth the price of this book ? not just in treasure hunting, but in life!), 'Finder?s Keepers,' and much more. There are many layers to all of his books. The stories are, of course, quite interesting. This is a remarkably easy book to read. But these are not just amusing anecdotes from a man who spent as much time in the field as anyone ? and certainly more than most. Every tale has a purpose if the reader is smart enough to understand it. See the photo of Karl sitting on a slot machine counting silver cartwheels from 'A king?s ransom in silver and gold coins.' If that doesn?t make your heart race and your blood pound, this just isn?t the book for you! Accurate and concise. Long out of print. Very scarce.

'I?ve found my share of buried treasure. and now enjoy the prosperous retirement that few men can afford. Had this book been available to me 30 years ago, I would be a multi-millionaire today.' - Jim Forsythe, in the Introduction to the first edition

The husband-and-wife team of Charles & Gladyce penned this classic introduction of successful treasure finding. 'Don?t ask them (the Gladsons) if they have heard of the place, if it is in the West; ask them when they were there last.' ? Wilbur Charles

Miller, Charles Dean [a.k.a. Karl von Mueller, KvonM, Half of Deek Gladson, 'The Dean of American Treasure Hunters']. Karl did more than any other person to popularize the sport of treasure hunting. He was a very successful treasure hunter (and one cannot truthfully state that about many treasure writers) and he was most generous with his time and hard-won knowledge. He wrote several books that are essential reading for the treasure hunter who wants to be a treasure finder. He often wrote that many useful books for the 'th'er' don?t have treasure in the title, however, many of his did, and they have been more than useful. Karl's trademark expression was 'Exanimo!' It is loosely translated as 'You'd better believe it!' He was a rock of a man and it was all pure ore. Lot weight: 0 lbs 6oz. Subject(s): Treasure Hunting.
