Italian patriot and soldier (1807–1882) best known for leading the attack of the ‘Red Shirts’ on Sicily in 1860. Stern 4.25 x 6.5 cabinet portrait, signed “G. Garibaldi” in black ink beneath the oval image. In fine condition. Signed photos of Garibaldi are quite uncommon. Provenance: The Barry Hoffman Collection.
