<B>Giuseppe Garibaldi Document Signed</B></I> 8” x 12”, four pages with cojoined sheets penned on first page only, May, 5, 1862, Trescore, Lombardy. In the document Garibaldi praises <I>Tiri al Bersaglio</B></I> (<I>Shooting the Target</B></I>) for helping the government in the “<I>Causa Nationale</B></I>”. Garabaldi (1807-1882) was an Italian patriot and soldier of the <I>Risorgimento.</B></I> He personally led many of the military campaigns that brought about the formation of a unified Italy. He has been dubbed the "Hero of the Two Worlds" in tribute to his military expeditions in South America and Europe. Near fine. <I>From the collection of Henry E.
