Italian opera singer, she was the daughter of one of Napoleon Bonaparte's Italian officers. ALS signed “G. Grisi,” four pages on two adjoining sheets, 4 x 5, Villa Salviati letterhead, no date. Letter to opera diva Adelina Patti. In part: “Many many thanks for your very kind note and having thought of me. I am always to hear of you and of all your triumphs that you really deserve…My best compliments to the Marquis.” In very good condition, with several brushes to text, light show-through from text on reverse, and a bit of light soiling.
